On Wednesday 27 February two teams from P7 (Daithi M, Ciara, Conor, Emma-Rose, Micheal, Donal, Daithi O and Caoimhe) travelled to Silverbridge GAA clubrooms for the South Armagh heat of the Cumann na mBunscol Quiz. Nineteen teams from thirteen different schools took part in the quiz and after ten rounds we were delighted to achieve first place with a score of 53 points. Well done to the members of the winning team who were Daithi M, Ciara, Conor and Emma-Rose. We later learned that our score achieved top marks in the Armagh section and we have been chosen, along with Our Lady’s & St Mochua’s, Derrynoose, as Armagh Representatives in the Ulster Quiz which will be held on 14 March.
