On Wednesday 4th December Kathryn, Claire and Jessica from Chest, Heart and Stroke visited P7 and P6/7 to discuss the dangers of smoking. The children were given electronic monitors to complete an interactive quiz and shown some of the chemicals found in cigarettes, a set of teeth that had been eroded due to smoking and the impact of smoking on an adult’s lungs. The pupils really enjoyed the visit and certainly gained a lot of knowledge about the dangers of smoking.
