Term 3
I want to wish everyone good luck this morning as we begin a new term. This year, it is a very different experience for all of us. Term three is usually an extremely busy time with assessments, our sacraments and school trips but this year everything has changed. I know there will be sadness at the loss and postponement of celebrations and days out but it is more important to keep safe at the moment and look after each other. We will get back to our familiar routines but it is crucial that we stay safe in the meantime.
Each of our families has their new learning pack with helpful plans produced by your children's teachers to guide you through the coming weeks. Under the 'Parents Area'/'Home Learning' tab, you can access additional activities and information to assist you with home schooling.
If you need clarification or assistance with anything, please use the 'Comment' box to communicate with your child's teacher. Once your query has been answered, the message can be deleted if you wish, but remember, your query might help other parents! Teachers are looking forward to hearing from you and your children, we are all really missing the interaction with our pupils.
I also have access to this facility and I will try to help where I can. Remember, you can contact me at any time by email as well.
We wish you the very best of luck in the coming weeks, we are here to help in any way we can. Don't feel overwhelmed by the work, take it one day at a time and only as much as you can manage. Your child will not 'fall behind', we are all in this together.
Look after yourselves and your family and good luck with term three home schooling.
